Yes, your child can receive instructional support after school.  Upper Valley Literacy, L.L.C. is open Monday-Friday 3:30 pm to 7:30 p.m. and in pre-arranged situations, Saturday 9:00am - 11:00 am.

Will you come to my house?
If you have a quiet space for tutoring in your home, a tutor will come to you.  An additional charge of $20.00 or $25.00 per session will be incurred for in-home tutoring.

In-Home  Fee = $20.00 per session

In-Home  Fee - More than 15 minute drive = $25.00

How will we start the process?

A pre-tutoring meeting will occur.  During this meeting your child will receive reading screenings.  In some cases academic testing or standardized testing may be recommended.
 

Pre-Tutoring Meeting : 

  • 60 minutes = $60.00

  • 15 minute follow up block with parents/guaridans = $15.00 per 15 minute block.   

Academic Testing & Standardized Testing 

  • 45 Minute Testing Blocks = $50.00

  • Additonal Testing Blocks = $15.00 per 15 minute blocks.

  • Parent Follow-Up = $30.00 per 30 minute bocks.

How much does individual tutoring cost?

  • 30 minutes =  $40.00   

  • 45 minutes =  $55.00 

  • 60 minutes =  $75.00

 

Save Money and Prepay for monthly Lessons:  

If you prepay 1 month:

  • 30 minutes =  $35.00

  • 45 minutes =  $50.00

  • 60 minutes =  $65.00

What is the minimum time to work with a tutor?

You will decide the number of sessions.

  • A minimum of twelve, 30-minute sessions, over six weeks is encouraged.
